Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern your use of Hippora, written to be read rather than skimmed.

Last updated: July 2026

1. The agreement

By creating an account or using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. What Hippora is

A private reflective application built on artificial intelligence. It is a tool for thinking. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign in details secure. You must be at least sixteen years old. One account is for one person, since the memory system is built around a single life.

4. Your content is yours

You keep every right in everything you write and say. We claim no ownership. We take the narrow licence needed to store your content, process it so the service works, and show it back to you.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Hippora to break the law, to harm another person, to attempt to extract the underlying models, or to disrupt the service for anyone else.

6. Subscriptions

Paid plans will renew automatically until cancelled, at a price confirmed before launch. You will always be able to cancel at any time from inside the app, and your access continues to the end of any period you have paid for. Prices will be inclusive of applicable tax where required.

7. Refunds

If Hippora is not what you expected, write to us within fourteen days of a payment and we will refund it. We will not ask you to justify it.

8. Availability

We work to keep Hippora available and we will tell you about planned maintenance. We cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses caused by an outage.

9. Limits of liability

Hippora is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

10. Ending it

You may close your account at any time, and your content is deleted with it. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and we will explain why.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Questions about any of this?

Write to us and a person will answer. We would rather explain it than have you guess.
