Why does Premium cost money?
Because some of what makes Hippora feel alive has a real ongoing cost to provide.
Live conversational AI requires substantial ongoing processing. So we tell you where the limit is, rather than calling something unlimited when it is not.
We would rather show you the line than hide it.
Premium supports those deeper capabilities while allowing us to keep a meaningful Hippora experience available for free, permanently.
At the limit
What happens when my voice time runs out?
Hippora does not disappear.
Your live conversation simply pauses until your voice time refreshes the following week. You can carry on talking with Hippora in text. You can still write.
- Your Journal is still there.
- Your Story is still there.
- Your Life Compass is still there.
- Your Practices are still there.
Nothing you have written becomes inaccessible because you have reached a voice limit.
There is no top-up screen. There are no extra minute packs. There is nothing else you need to buy.

Do I need a card to start?
No. Creating an account and using Hippora Free requires no payment details.
Can I use Hippora Free indefinitely?
Yes. Free is not a three day subscription countdown.
How much can I speak with Hippora on Premium?
Up to 70 minutes of live conversation each week. Your voice time refreshes weekly, so you can use it when you need it.
Why weekly rather than daily?
Because conversations do not fit neat daily quotas. You might want a long conversation on Tuesday and none at all on Wednesday. A weekly allowance lets you use your voice time when you actually need it.
Do spoken Practices use my voice time?
No. Spoken Practice teaching is separate from live conversation and does not draw on your weekly allowance.
What happens when I reach the weekly limit?
Live conversation pauses until your voice time refreshes. The rest of Hippora does not suddenly lock.
Does Hippora Free include live conversation?
Free includes a real spoken First Meeting with Hippora. Ongoing live conversation is a Premium experience.
Can I still talk to Hippora?
Yes. Continue the conversation in text.
Will I lose my Journal if I stop paying?
No. Your own writing should never be held hostage by a subscription.
Can I cancel Premium?
Yes. Premium can be cancelled through your App Store subscription settings. Your subscription remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is Hippora available in Spanish?
Yes. Hippora is being built in English and Spanish as equal product languages, including the interface and authored Practice experience.
